Cuffing season refers to a period of time when single people begin looking for short-term partnerships to pass the colder months of the year. Cuffing season usually begins in October and lasts until just after Valentine's Day. "Cuffing" is a term based on the idea of getting "handcuffed" or tied down to one partner.

God doesn’t want us to be cuffed to a person for the short term. He wants us to be cuffed to a spouse for the long-term. God has a plan for our lives that is greater than our plan. He has a life partner in mind who is the perfect match for us. A lot of times we are cuffed to ideals, mindsets, beliefs that are not aligned with God’s Will and plan for our life.
We must stay connected with friends who are good for us. People who can check in with us, tell us the truth even when we are wrong. I encourage you to check yourself, check your inner circle, and ask yourself, “Am I in right standing with God, Today???? Am I ready to meet Him?? If not you need to reposition your focus on God and your assignment on the earth.
